NAGC is holding it's 56th Annual convention this November in St. Louis, called "Gateway to Gifted." I love when it's in the middle of the country because so many more people can make the trip!
The notifications just came out if your presentation proposals have been accepted. Were you one? Are you going?
Let's plan a meet up one of the nights and have a dinner! Do we have anyone from the St. Louis area, or who is familiar with the town who can arrange a great local restaurant meet up for us?
Let's connect in real life and continue to connections we've made here!
Glad you are coming to St. Louis. I did not hear back about my proposal as yet so assume it was not accepted.
There are MANY, MANY places to eat in St. Louis. I would recommend highly a trip to "the hill", an Italian community near downtown. Two restaurants to recommend there - Guidos (http://www.guidosstl.com/ ) and Connetto's House of Pasta (http://www.cunetto.com/). Need directions or more specifics let me know.
I am doing a poster session and I am totally nervous and excited..... mostly because I am a little confused about how a poster session actually works. I've seen the posters up, but I have never seen an actual scheduled presentation. Anyone have any tips?
HI, Ginger.
Sitting outside "Magestic G", just having finished your Friday workshop. Thanks for introducing me to this online community of gifted educators!
