- A little about me:
- I taught science in overseas school for 5 years before returning to teach middle school science in Houston. I went to work in the gifted office in my district as a master teacher presenting staff development and working with teachers - helping them meet the needs of their gifted students. This is when I found my true calling. I always enjoyed working with my gifted students, but by working with teachers I can have an even bigger impact. I know I survived writing questions and answers all through school - if I can convert just one teacher to product based instruction I feel like I have accomplished something! One person at a time! Anyway, I started to get lots of requests to work with other districts until I finally went out on my own. Although I travel a lot speaking and consulting, I still work with students through a thriving tutoring business.
