Well...now that the kid is about to graduate high school and the hubby is unemployed, I am finally starting a site for gifted and classical educational products (http://www.davincimom.com). It still is in that phase where new stuff is going up every…

Thanks for clarifying. I will gauge the maturity of any students that I give this information to.

You can change your email address by going to "My Page" (tab across the top of the page) and clicking "My Settings," which is found at the top right corner of you page.

One of the first lines that shows up is your email address and you just click "change." :)

As for invites--I want the kids to know this is an adult site and they should be careful with whom they talk. You'll need to keep a good eye on them. Also, I think that the more mature students are better. If someone misbehaves, I'll have NO problems blocking them because the network is too important to let a kid muck it up with silliness.

Parents are very welcome--they sign up the exact same way that you did. Also, administrators, counselors, pre-service teachers, university professors, and eventually people in the business sector are welcome as well! I'd even like to see a few older students in here to give their take on g/t and general education experiences, both good and bad.

Until we begin to talk, learn, and problem-solve together, nothing will change for the students with the best potential to make sweeping, global solutions to the problems facing humankind.

Joyce--thank you for your kind words. Now it's time to get our parents and colleagues in here to talk all things gifted! The value of the network is in direct proportion to the amount of activity contributed by each member! ;-)

Hey! Remember me from a few of the Emporia classes we took together? I always enjoyed reading your comments on different forum posts. I have sent you a friend request in hopes of being able to continue to see what innovative ideas you have.
