I presented at NAGC 2008 to share my enthusiasm about using 2.0 tools to bring the world to gifted learners and gifted learners to the world. Join me in the exploration?
I teach gifted education to students in grades K-5 at a Department of Defense Dependent School at Ft. Benning, Georgia. I have been teaching for 24 years.
Hey Margaret! I hope you'll have your videos to share at the big meeting. Can't wait to play catch up. I'm running myself ragged trying to serve two schools. But I'm sure you understand. See you soon. Cathy
Good to find you here. I'm still trying to find my own post, but I'll stay with it a while longer. I'm at Wilson and Loyd this year. Traveling is killing me already. Do you have many kids this year? Cathy
Thank you. AFA is Air Force Association in conjunction with CAP (Civil Air Patrol). The Air Force has their own lingo. I am sure the Army acronyms would confuse me!
It would be great to get together. I used some of the money I got from the AFA Teacher of the Year for buying the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Engineering curriculum. ($250) It has some great lessons AND the acitivities are aligned with NCTM, ITES and NSES standards.
