A little about me:
I attended gifted classes as a child. (L.A. Unified's MGM program back in the 1970s). My BA is from Antioch (Liberal Arts with a minor in Existential Psychology) and my MA is from Pepperdine (Clinical Psychology with a minor in Marriage and Family Counseling.)

I am now a counselor of the gifted at an independent school (pre-k through 8th grade) for gifted/asynchronous learners in Boulder, Colorado. I am inspired daily by many of my colleagues and students. I feel incredibly lucky to be doing work that I love so much.

I have a couple of chapters in a new book called "High IQ Kids" (Free Spirit) and I'm *very* interested in becoming a better teacher for those times when I'm working with my students on social and emotional learning.

What age of student/person do you have an interest in mostly?
I'm interested in giftedness through the lifespan, truly.

Welcome to GE2.0; so glad to have you in! It's great what you've been contributing here so far! As you can probably see, the value of the network depends on each of us contributing a little as often as we can! ;-)
