I am a gifted specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio. I teach 6th grade math to gifted students and coordinate the gifted high school program.

Hi Ginger! What a great set up you have here. I am really starting to get the hang of 2.0 tools and seeing how they fit into my world.

Currently, my school district is making plans to rebuild one of the elementary buildings. So, my math students are learning how to create scale model drawings in order to submit their design plans for the new school. They are making a real-world connection to school math. What grades do you work with and what are some of the activities your students are working on?
