I too am so interested in the most recent research and the latest in this field. The more we know about the brain, the more we can use that to our advantage! Highly recommend Brain Rules by John Medina.

I teach gifted kids from 1 - 8th grade. I do pull out, replacement, and enrichment classes. I want to use technology with the kids as much as possible.

We are working on some pretty intense reading projects in our program. third grade is reading Number the Stars and loving every bit of it. 6th grade is working on Touching Spirit Bear. The boys are so enamored by this book. SO vivid and descriptive. Anyone do any of these books before? What really worked/ What didn't?

Always Learning

I love taking classes. I love visiting social networking sites. I learn so much and am excited to pass it on to others. I am currently working on a project that will be handed out to the teachers in my school that have the gifted cluster. I am putting together a easy flip book that tells the nitty gritty about gifted.
