Illinois - Oct. 1 scholarships deadline

The Illinois Association for Gifted Children Scholarship
This award was established in 1996 by IAGC to provide financial support for those who wish to enhance their understanding in the area of educating gifted children.
Two scholarships will be awarded each year to PARENTS, teachers, or other school staff members who work with gifted children. The award is for a $150 tuition voucher - good for use toward the IAGC Convention (Feb. 7-9, 2010, Chicago).

Navigating sites that are available for the vast range of "gifted" interests is like browsing at a shopping mall. Some people like to make an afternoon of seeing what's out there in books and clothing and food, while others just want to go to the hardware store for a new faucet washer to replace one that's worn out. Some want a directory and map, while others prefer to wander. The hard part is trying to figure out the best way to help those you need to go out and get and those who come to you. Thanks for providing this example.
