I have been working as a gifted specialist in Amphitheater Schools in Tucson, Arizona since 1987. In 1990, I completed my master's degree in Gifted Education, through the University of Arizona, where Dr. June Maker was my mentor. During the last 22 years, I have seen progress made in the area of gifted education and I am proud to be part of a district that works hard to try to meet the needs of our gifted learners.
