A little about me:
Began working with gifted children many years ago but started getting paid for it in 2003. My children are very bright though not labeled "gifted" they each have wonderful talents - artistic, thoughtful, able to fit into any social group, creative, and well-spoken. I love my family, my God, my job, and my hobbies. I am intense yet a cooperative individual.

What age of student/person do you have an interest in mostly?
K-12

Weather, Games, Turtles, Kids, Travel, Photography are some of my interests!

My picture represents a turtle looking up at the sky playing the usual game of "name that cloud" while relaxing in the backyard after traveling and playing all summer while wishing for winter and the hanging of my ornaments!

I wanted a picture that represented many of my interests - weather, playing games, collecting turtles, traveling w/ my family, being a kid at times, photography, and collecting ornaments - I think I did it!

Hi Belinda -
I am guessing you are Belinda of Olathe fame! I have just looked at this site briefly and thought I would sign up. How are you? How is your daughter? My niece is really hoping to get in to Darmouth in the fall. Fingers crossed.

I'm excited about the partnership possibilities for parents, educators, administrators, counselors, (and key community members, eventually).

Thank you for your kind words! I hope that the network continues to grow, expand in conversations, and becomes life-changing (or at least education-changing) for our gifted youth! Feel free to invite in other g/t stakeholders, including parents, colleagues, and administrators!

Hello Belinda and welcome to GE2.0! I hope you come in, ask questions and respond from time to time. The network gains value for all of us when each of us participates! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
