A little about me:
I'm teaching a year 8 Academically Talented Program class for the first time this year and I'm enjoying the fast pace and the challenge of teaching gifted kids. I've started studying for my M.Ed through Monash University specializing in gifted and talented education. I've still got a great deal to learn and hope to learn something from giftededucation2.0!

There's no rush. I reckon it's best to give it a bit of polish over a couple of weeks then send out the invites. It's important that there be some content that is engaging otherwise when people are invited they will not stay. People's time is limited and there are lots of resources trying to catch their attention. Most people will need a reason to stay.

When things are a little more polished I'll send out a few invites too. ;-)

Hello Sol!

Thanks for dropping in! Honestly, I just started this network in the past couple of days. I set it up Saturday, and just had the chance to begin working on it last nite.

I don't feel that it's too ready for launch or wide-spread invites, and I'd LOVE to have your feedback on how to improve it. I do plan to send out invites to some key players in gifted ed, but want to have a good foundation in place, as I wonder about their tech-savvy.
Do you think the worries are valid, or should I just send out the invites?
